Then get them to apply to pitch are Sutton Soup. Your community group can take part if they
- are a community project/charity that are not run for profit
- are seeking money that will benefit the people of the London Borough of Sutton (LBS)
- apply to pitch through the Sutton Soup website
- provide contact names, numbers and bank details of the project/charity
- undertake to come to the next event(s), should they win, and present how they have used the money

Sutton Soup happens four times a year and pitching slots do tend to get booked up in advance. If you apply to pitch now please bear in mind that you are likely to be pitching in 6-9 months’ time, although we do sometimes get cancellations and the turnaround can be quicker.
Events
Come along to Sutton Soup.
Learn about local charities and good causes and play your part in raising money for them. Meet new people and enjoy homemade soup served in hand made mugs crafted by a local potter. Have a glass of wine at our pay bar. It really is a fun and different evening out!
TAKE PART
Sutton Soup will be held in the beautiful venue of St. Nicholas Church but it is NOT a religious event. We welcome people of all faiths (and those with none!). Nor are we aligned to any political party. All are welcome whatever their views/background and we are hoping that Sutton Soup will reflect the vibrant and diverse population of Sutton.
Our Aim
The aim of Sutton Soup is:
- To promote the public involvement in community projects that are not run for profit and which aim to benefit the people who live and work in the London Borough of Sutton (LBS), to raise funds for those projects and to develop a sense of social entrepreneurship within the LBS and to provide publicity for initiatives local to LBS that stress low level direct involvement and community self help and activism.
- For the purpose of this clause ‘social entrepreneurship’ means that effort directed at changing the lives of the citizens of LBS for the better either through the relief of disadvantage, illness or through environmental improvement and is irrespective of sex, race, disability, ethnic origin, religion, belief, creed, sexual orientation or gender.
- Sutton Soup will achieve this by staging regular fundraising events at which good causes serving the LBS can present their work and their need for funding.
